Place your letter in a sealed envelope marked "Privileged Correspondence" Regular letters are not supposed to be opened, but if a letter is placed inside a package it should be in a separate sealed envelope with the privileged notation on the front.  This might delay the FBI from reading it, but we doubt it.  The Afghan Government doesn't care less about reading their mail.  Nor do they care if they read it.

The Officers at Pulacharke Prison could use some things from our Afghan American friends (they only get paid about $40 per month here).  Used, new, old, or any condition, all is appreciated:

• Socks, Gloves (no matter how old or used)

• US military thermal wear or Long underwear

• PR-24 Batons (for all you police out there)

• BDU Belts, any sizes

• Used bulletproof vests

• Desert Boots/Black Boots (even used ones are great)

• Pots and pans, old utensils

• Women's clothing for their wives

• Children's clothing (same deal as above)

• Children's toys

You can send it all to Jack care of General Zorodin and it will be delivered to Pulacharke and put to good use by American allies.  Contrary to the Floggin's lies, Jack has brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in aid for the people of Afghanistan.  All paid for by Jack, or donated by his family and friends, but he has NEVER accepted a single dime of donations in cash, check, or any currency; only clothes, books, military gear, and medical supplies- all for our Afghan allies that fought the Taliban and al-Qaida.

Dear Mr. Idema,

I hope this letter finds its way to you.  My name is Penny  & I’ve been following your story for a very long time now.  I’ve seen numerous pieces about you on MSNBC, Fox, CBS, etc.  I’ve read all the postings & articles on American & Arab websites, as well.  But what really stands out in my mind was when I saw you on Imus a while back.  No matter what your reasons or methods are – you get it.  You see the big picture of all the bullshit that is happening both there & in the states.  It seems to me people have forgotten what happened 9.11.01 ––   but I can’t, for many days afterwards, I worked at a triage at ground zero.  It started as a search and rescue but very quickly turned into a search and recover.  Everyone had known from day one there would be no survivors, but it was never said out loud.  The whole time, I just kept looking around me and what I saw was what I always imagined hell would be like.  That was also when I stopped having “gray” opinions and to see the world just in black and white.  Time and time again, you have proved to be a true American hero, in every sense of the word.  What is happening now to you and your friends is so horrible and completely unfair.  You have shown nothing but courage and patriotism in your actions.  

You’ve been fearless and relentless and courageous in your actions.  The last thing they should be doing to you is charging you with any wrongdoings.  This country and that country should be giving you medals.  I hope to God, everything turns out well for you and this mess just goes away.  We in America need people like you, so we can feel secure and sleep at night.  Some day I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and say thank you in person.

I hope this letter will get to you and find you in good health (mentally and physically).  Happy belated birthday.  When you get home we will have a big party!!!  I hope you know how much we love and support you.  We may have a small family, but we love each other very much and support each other (no matter what) we are survivors!  I have been wanting to tell you, we are very proud of you.  I haven’t forgotten September 11th (like some people) or the reason you went to Afghanistan.  You are very brave and strong……. Never forget that…

…I have read all kinds of articles about your situation.  I wish we could talk about this.  You know your mom, aunt xxxx and I are really involved with getting you home and not a day goes by we aren’t talking about you and how to make this happen…  Please remember how much we love you B and never give up!

بندیخانه پلچرخی یکی از نامشهورترین بندیخانه درجهان میباشد روسها بیشتر از 20.000 مردم را دراینجا ازبین برده هستند. طالبان چقدر مردم را ازبین بردن هیچ کس نمیفهمد که چقدر بجز از خداوند(ج). چهار اطرافش را کوه های سربفلک وچند دیوار پوشیده است، درسابق 100.000 اشخاص اینجا بندی بودند، جای نیست که شما بخواهید باشید، مگر برای ما، یک اعتراض کوچک هم وجودندارد، اینجا افسر ها کوشش نهایی خویش را میکنند که به ما خدمت کنند. بندی خانه پلچرخی را غیر قابل نفوذ یاد میکنند، مگر چیزی که درمکتب سیری تدریس میشود، این هیچ چیزی نیست.

من امید داشتم تا حال، شما همرای دوستان تان آزاد میشوید. من درباره مظاهره شنیدم که شما زنده وآرام هستید. بخت ویا قسمت من را حلقه زده است. کدام کمک. من هیچ باور نمیکنم که این آزمایش سخت را تحمل میکنید. نمونه های کلمه قهرمان استفاده شده، مگر این کلمه واقعاً به شما میزیبد. من میفهمم که این زیاد معلوم نمیشود، مگر من واقعاً باور به همین درد دارم که بخت به من داده است، وقتیکه من در زمین به صفر درجه کا میکردم، هیچ چیزی نبود، من ازهوا تجربه نه آموختم، بحرحال کی میفهمد... هرکی باید این درد را بخود بیگیرد وبفهمند که آنهاهم مانند ما امریکایی میباشند، کی وفا را باخود نگاه میکنند. من شنیدم بازهم معطل نمودی، چطور هستی؟ پاکت ها را تا بحال گرفتید؟ به همان آدرس که دادی روان نمودم، اویک آدم بسیار خوب است. ما خیلی نامه ها را بیرون روان نمودیم وخواهش نمودیم یک دادرسی کنگره داشته باشید ودخالت اف بی آی وسی آی ا را وغیره پیدا نمایند. در دولت ما خیلی چیزی ها تعغیر نموده است، وهمچنان در افغانستان. من خیلی خیلی خنثی شدم وقتیکه جواب گرفتم، ما شرایط را میفهمیم. من دریک صفحه انترنیت رفتم که اخبار درست را استفاده میکنند ماه گذشته مگردم هستند که به آن صفحه انترنیت چیزی اظافه نموده وباعث تمزخر قرار میدادند. من بعضی پراگراف های آخیر را خواندم که درباره شما چیزی نوشته بودند خیلی قهر شدم. همچنان برایت میگویم که بعداً چی نمودم، کن اظافه نمودم که تا زمانیکه سه امریکایی در بندیخانه افغانستان میباشد البته این مردم چطور بخواب آرام خواهند رفت وچطور بزرگ میشوند. واز طرف خود امضا نمودم وهرکسی که میخواهند جواب بدهند، کی این احساس را دارد که جواب بدهد.

تنها خوستم که بفهمید ما درباره شما فکر میکنیم، که این جورنالستان فکر نمودن پیش از اینکه چی مینوسند، که دریکی خودشان این واقعه رخ بدهد. تنها دراین باره فکر کنند. شما فرو رفتید همرای مارینس ویا رنجر پطرول درعراق وچیزی دیگر که باید بفهمید، وقتیکه دستگیر شدید بالای شما چارچ نمودند جنگ درمقابل عراق را (فکر کنید جنگ 1991 ماه اول جنگ آخیر را- وقیکه سدام را محکمه کش نمودند. من حدس میزنم که چی واقع در 9/11 رخ داد آن را ازیاد بردند که چقدر دوستان خوش را از دست دادند. بحرحال، نفرت هم در گردش است، شما تصاویر راگرفتید. هی، من بعضی چیزی ها را برایت آماده نمودم، باید فکر کنید غذا مفت پیدا نمیشود. امید است گوشت گوساله را ونیپس پنیر را خوش داشته باشید.

Dear Brent,

…It is hard for us in our back-water mountains to understand the world today.  I envy those who are so sure of everything!  If there is anything I can send you, to make your life a little more tolerable, please let me know.  I am not a real religious person, but I’ve sure been doing a lot of praying lately… My son just retired after two tours over there, and my nephew is about to retire.

Hello son,

How are you all doing?  Mr. Tiffany said that you had been moved to some place safer after the attempt on Ed’s life [at NDS].  In the last few months I have talked to a lot of people all over the U.S. and the world.  I know deep inside that this is all going to work out, even if I have to become a pain in everyone’s ass.  I hope these letters and cards get to you.  I also don’t want to say too much in case these are censored…
